When agents take time out of their busy lives to get education, they want to learn something that they can apply and benefit from in their business. Enthusiasm and Application are two words that apply to the way Monica teaches.
Monica started as a REALTOR in 2002, working the ups and downs of the markets. She is an Education Junkie, loving to learn and loving to teach others how to improve their lives and business. She has been a local and national instructor since 2008.
In 2014 Monica was awarded the SRES (Senior Real Estate Specialist) Outstanding Service Award from the National Association of REALTORS. In 2015 she was awarded the REALTOR of the Year by her peers in the Williamson County Association of REALTORS. She has served her local association by being on the Education, Grievance and Professional Standards Committees. She is helping at the National level with Curriculum updates. She is also a member of NSA, The National Speakers Association.
The letters behind Monica’s name reflect the education she has received as a REALTOR. Education relating to working with Buyers, Sellers, Multinational and Multi-generational clients. She has learned about sustainability in homes and communities, diversity in the world and in the industry. Real estate is an industry where qualified agents need to know how to create the business, manage the business, negotiate the deal, provide outstanding customer service, solve big problems, and be cheerful during the whole process. The learning never stops.
On the personal side, Monica is an adventurer. Trains, planes and automobiles make up a large part of her past. Oh, and a motorcycle. Before the real estate years, she lived in Asia for 5 years, learning cultures and language. This diverse perspective on life and people help Monica work with agents from all backgrounds and countries. She is a native of Franklin, TN where she and her husband, Mark, have raised 2 children. But the nation and the world are her favorite places to play. Travel and entertaining bring the balance of life at home or away.
